Why We Do What We Do
As former teachers and educators, we know the importance of getting STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) careers started early. By the age of 8, kids have already formed the majority of their interests that will guide them for the rest of their life. By introducing STEAM careers and other important 21st century skills (problem solving, creativity, and critical thinking) to kids early in life, we can set them up for success!
Join us in giving all kids the chance to dream big and tinker, build, and explore!
Meet the Founders
Jessica Gordon, CEO
Jessica’s passion for education was born out of her experience working with preschools. While at Washington University in St. Louis, Jessica conducted research on emergent literacy and child development. Upon graduating, Jessica led a team of curricula writers at an education technology company. Jessica hopes to get teachers and students excited about tinkering, building, and exploring in and outside of the classroom.
Allison Bischoff, COO
Allison began her career in curriculum development at Washington University in St. Louis. She was the Program Director of The Writing Shelter, a creative writing program for women at a local domestic violence shelter, and created curriculum for the women, managed operations and volunteers. After graduating, Allison continued her work in curriculum as a senior curriculum writer at an education technology company. Allison hopes to inspire change in STEAM curricula across the U.S. by empowering educators and providing kids with fun and relatable programs.
